Flexible Schedule Our students are busy adults (average age of 36). We understand and respect the challenges of balancing work and family life while trying to complete your educational dream. That's why the CEL has developed innovative, flexible methods that allow you to complete your degree at your own pace! Classes meet on weeknights, Saturdays, online and by directed
study.
Accelerated Pace Classes meet once a week for eight weeks, allowing
you to complete your degree much faster than in a traditional
program. Each semester is comprised of two eight-week
sessions (called Session A and B), which allows you to be a full-time student
by attending class two times a week. You can
also take just one class at a time if you wish, and
still progress through the program quicker than in a
traditional format. The Center for Extended Learning has three semesters per academic year, allowing students to attend classes year-round, if desired.
Students who
have finished their foundation credits can complete
a bachelor
degree in as little as twelve months.
Mission The mission of the Center for Extended Learning is to extend the mission of
Rochester College by making post-secondary Christian
education available to the adult learner. This education
is characterized by academic excellence, life relevance,
and Christian foundation.
