Financial Aid is available to
those who qualify.
Rochester College is committed to helping you obtain all the aid for which you
are eligible. To receive the maximum amount of available aid, you should follow
the steps below as early as possible:
Complete
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov Our school code is 002288.
After your FAFSA is processed,
the government will mail you a Student Aid Report
(SAR).
Please read it carefully. If you need to make any corrections please go online and make them. You will need your pin number and DRN number located in the upper right hand corner of your Student Aid Report.
Once we receive your SAR from the government, if selected for verification, our office will contact you. You will submit a payment choice form (located in the registration packet) listing the amount of hours you intend to take. When received, we will send you a complete financial aid packet, which will include your award letter and other documents. The award letter will list all state grants, federal grants and loans for which you qualify. Please review the information carefully. You will initial the awards where indicated and return the letter along with all other financial aid documents directly to the financial aid office (a postage paid envelope will be included for this purpose).
Please note that award letters are valid only for the current school
year. A renewal FAFSA application must be completed for subsequent
years.
