Interlibrary Loan - ILL is a research-support service offered by the library. Through ILL the library can obtain books and articles for you from other libraries, if they are not available at Rochester College.
If you want to borrow materials from the library and are not from RC, please contact your local library and ask about their ILL services.
If you are another library wishing to borrow materials, please contact us at : 248.218.2260 or library@rc.edu
Reminders Please do your research ahead of time because requests can take up to a month to obtain. Make sure you have verified that our library or other local library collections do not own the item you are requesting. To find out if Rochester College has the materials you need, check the WarriorLINK catalog.
Please fill out the following form completely to make sure your interlibrary loan request can be processed. If you do not provide all of the requested information, the library may not be able to get the materials you need.
Costs:
At this time there is no charge to patrons for ILLs received from within the state of Michigan. Items that have to be requested from out-of-state and require payment and/or return postage, will not be processed unless the patron is willing to pay the charges.. If there are costs to obtain the item, the patron will be notified by the ILL Manager and asked if they are willing to pay the cost to obtain the item. If a patron is not willing to pay the cost, the library will be unable to acquire the requested material. Most ILL requests will cost the patron nothing.
Submit only one item/request per form, (i.e. one book or one article).
The Ennis and Nancy Ham Libraryis a member of the DALNET consortium.
